This album is just 100/100, like so many albums from mgla. How can a band hit the spot so many times? They are incredible. Thank you for accompanying me almost daily these days :) adrianradillo

I heard a recent 2021 metal album that was, in two words, fucking atrocious (hint - the band starts with "Kos" & has some of the worst album art in recent memory). With the sound of that shitty album still ringing in my ears, I went to my go-to band to wash it away: Blaze of Perdition. This album is just so deep, complex & epic with my favorite Sonneillon vocals to date. But definitely check "Ashes Remain" the next time you hear a superficial band trying too hard. It will make you believe again. bcb723

This is, in my opinion, Mgła's ("Migwah's") best work, projecting a Lōathing øf Lįfe so feverish that it becomes palpable, infecting the air. Sugammadex
The metal’s band revelatory new record crosses genres and styles, effortlessly combining seemingly incompatible subgenres. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2024

Great album! An interesting idea to base concept of music on the Liturgy of Death from Orthodox funeral rites. Modern riffs, creative mix of black and doom metal. I am proud that we have such metal bands in Poland :-) Ray Mundo & Olia
